diablo 3 = GOTY

I personally believe Diablo 3 is a game of the year winner, however i have to put my MGS4 up there with Diablo, BUT Diablo3 looks amazing and i cant wait to see all the new classes and weapons hopefully they made the armor amazing looking, so is the 12-31-08 release date fact?

Diablo 3 does look very, very good.

You're going to be waiting a while though: "We kind of have this rule of, ideally, we announce a game a year to a year and a half before the game comes out."

Considering Starcraft 2 was delayed until '09, and it is further along than Diablo 3, it's incredibly unlikely, even impossible for Diablo 3 to be released this year.

But whenever it comes out, I won't have a life for a while. ._.

There's only been one piece of gameplay footage. Just cause it has the name Diablo doesn't automatically mean GOTY.

Come on guys! Don't be so close-minded! Maybe the TC went to the future and played Diablo III, saw that it got GOTY, then came back a happier person!

I'm already planning to head to the future tomorrow to play StarCraft II. ;)
