couple of weeks ago i but a game from gamestop so i had to ask when diablo 3 is comeing out and the guy told it would be release sometime in november of 2011 if the guy seems right for the release date but who knowns it might be false
These guys just sell stuff, they have no idea when games get released, they just get a notice few weeks before the release, so they can order copies and that's it.
Blizzard: When its done its done, before that its just retail speculation... I don't know how new you all are to the Blizzard scene but its just like Valve. When you see a retailer giving a date or a quarter for release ... its speculative. nothing more.... its been that way since ... oh forever. Secondary source: Roommate works at gamestop, they put arbitrary guesstimates on big sellers to have an idea on what that quarters sales MAY look like...
Gamestop is the absolute worst place to go to get info on release dates. Heck, a week before E3 they were claiming that Crackdown 2 wouldn't be out untill september and practically everyone else had it listed in July :lol:
