This may be a silly question, but I have been going old school and playing Diablo II: LoD again. I was wondering if it is possible to ascertain higher resolutions than 800 x 600 and the latter 640 x ---. My graphics card is an Nvidea 7950GTX on my laptop (Clevo m570u). I have heard of 'forcing' resolutions in games before, and I know in some games it is applicable (quake III and IV for example), but I was uncertain about Diablo II. Help?supafly101enter to your Diablo 2 folder , do you see about 3 text document files named D242452? (D with numbers after that) it's files that the game created after detecting your hardware/software - enter to all of those and change the resolution from 800x600 to your designed resolution

Huh? Those are log files created by the game everytime you play it. They can't be used to change anything.
The game's max. resolution is 800x600 with the expansion installed.
