I was going to start Call Of Juarez: Bound in Blood on Friday, and try to finish it by Monday night.

I started playing Saturday night at nine o'clock, and am now struggling to finish Chapter Three, the horrible stagecoach getaway level. Doesn't look like I'm going to finish up by tomorrow night.

I can't seem to finish anything anymore.

I finished playing through the first Silent Hill last night, for the second time in a row, if that counts. As far as PC games go, I was gonna try to finish up Half-Life: Opposing Force.

Did you finish HL2: Episode Two?

I'm ashamed to say that I didn't. As soon as I got out of that mine area, and into the open world above ground, I stopped playing. I do that a lot. I stop at a point where I get really excited. The idea here, I think, is that I'm trying to savor the game. But then I move onto something else. I will return to Episode 2 though. I still keep telling myself that I'm going to start a real campaign in Empire Total War as well, though, but I never do. This isn't to mention that I'm still on Chapter Two in Dead Space. I'm halfway through Ghostbusters, and I'm just starting Point Lookout. I seem to waste an inordinate amount of time on silly stuff, like the multiplayer in Call Of Juarez, or on a driving game such as Toca 3. (Or I'll come here to this forum, and write about gaming, rather than actually gaming.) This is why I planned on finishing Bound In Blood this weekend - just to finish something for once.

I guess so, I ran out of mission in DoW2 SP campaign and I can't progress any further. I'm suppose to have at least 3 more missions left to officially end the campaign, but there's a common game glitch that won't let me :? ... so I consider it finished :P

We celebrate it on May 1 here; I can't remember what I played back then. I guess Riddick.

This weekend I finished Medal of Honor: Airborne and Hell's Highway.

I'm new to the game too, but I've found that the Challenge Mode --> Trial - Normal is probably the best way to learn your characters' attacks and combos.

Playing online is probably not a great idea yet until after you've got a hang of blocking, special attacks and ultras.

I also finished HL2: Episode Two, for the fourth time. Love that ending.

Haven't really been playing much recently. I just reinstalled STALKER: SoC though, with the Complete 2009 mod, so I'm aiming to finally get through that one next.

I still need to finish:

Cryostasis, Assassin's Creed, Chronicles of Riddick, Crysis + Warhead (unopened), IL-2 1946 (unopened), Prey, Call of Juarez, the Penumbra series, Prince of Persia.

I'm sure there are at least one or two more games that I cant think of atm. Unfortunately, most of my free time lately has gone towards Warhammer Online. I just resubbed and i've been having fun with open world rvr in tier 1 and tier 2. There are at least five games I want to pick up this holiday season too. And with school less than amonth away, my free time will soon become even more limited. Someday I plan on finishing all of the above games though, someday.

If you ever decide that you want to live a sober life (and, trust me on this, it's wonderful being sober all the time... just wonderful), I think you'll find that investing time and money in PC gaming is a great way to change your patterns.

For a while there I was spending all of my money on liquor and women - I was socializing all the time. I now believe that alcohol is a drug, and I cannot believe that I wasted all that time drinking, and putting that crap into my body. Gaming is where it's at for me now.

It's amazing how much money you'll save as well. I was easily able to buy a great new rig from Alienware. That's money that would have otherwise been spent on liquor and women. I don't miss the liquor at all. To the contrary, each minute that I'm sober is pure bliss, and of course the mornings are wonderful. The women, it turns out, now that I'm sober, were all just a bunch of hoes anyhow. Fun to be around while drunk, but hoes, every one of them.

I finally managed to beat CoD4 Singleplayer on Hard, which was very gratifying, then 2 hours later found myself in downtown San Diego dancing on a buzz to some really good DJ sets. LML.

I completed WoW today. It took a long time, but I finally beat it on very hard difficulty setting.
