So I just recently got the Rampage 2 Extreme, and its currently being built by a friend.. I don't see how I could POSSIBLY max out 12 gigs of ram, but the Asus only supports up to 12 gigs. The EVGA classified supports up to 24.. Did I make a mistake of going with the Rampage?

Can you please support your answer with a bit more substance.. Cause I am really not assured.. I really do feel like going back and buying the Classified at this point.

Rampage II and The Classified are both great boards. You really can't go wrong with either. I personally went with the classified, but it won't be for a while until you need more than 12 GB of RAM.

I can honestly say that I haven't come across anyone with more than 12 GB of RAM.

I can't possibly imagine needing more than 12 gigs of RAM. Are you making Pixar films or something? lol

i'm sorry but this thread is a joke, your lack of knowledge before purchasing the top of the line board is ridiculous and your question is irrelevant considering even you admited not caring about boards that support 12 or more gb of ram. So your question can only be answered with another question. Do you just want us to reconfirm your own decision that the board you bought is not wasted? Because if that's what you're asking for, then no, you did not waste your money on buying the board.
