Did i miss something?!?! Q6600

Who knows? It was $480 a few days earlier..

No point in getting a quad-core right now anyways, unless you aren't patient enough to wait 3 weeks. :P

2 possible answers:

1. Newegg mistake, things like that happen.

2. Newegg is trying to rip off people before the price drop, so they can win some money.

So you didn't even check what was causing the problem? Then I'm 99.99% sure that it wasn't the CPU that was bad. :)

ahh, yeah i noticed the price think at newegg too. I checked zip zoom fly and they've still got Q6600's for $480, so i don't have any idea how newegg thinks their competitive with that price.

EDIT: Just checked Newegg again and they're back to $480...must have been a typo.
