Anyone here use digital vibrance on their Nvidia cards? What are your thoughts on it?

I am so accoustomed to using this that when I happened to turn it off, everything seems to look so lifeless. This is one feature I truly like about Nvidia.I've been suing Nvidia cards since 2003, and I can't think of switching.

I am not so very sure if ATi cards have it or not.

I prefer more accurrate colors. In fact, i wish there was a negative digital vibrance (or desaturation really) as im about to purchase a wide gamut monitor and color profile settings do not work on many implications, including most games.

You don't need to have color profiles of any sort. Just increase the digital vibrance. I suppose I understand that you don't want it, but to me, it makes the whole viewing experience better. I set it to about 40%.

Digital vibrance sucks.

It makes things saturated, even things that are supposed to be more mute.

Pig disgusting.

I set it to 33%. The colors look much better with DV on. I couldn't do without it.

My Samsung monitor has a MagicColor feature which does about the same thing but the DV setting is more precise and easier to use.

My LG monitor has "Forté", which lets you finely tune the colours, brightness and contrast to make it look more dynamic and rich.

It looks much better than Nvidia's digital vibrance, which looks unnatural, digital and oversaturated to me.

Digital Vibrance is a must for me. I have an older (3+ years) ViewSonic widescreen monitor. The colors don't look so great without it. Oversaturation can be a bit of a problem sometimes, but it's no big deal.

I turn it to 60%. Everything looks so dull and lifeless without it.

I know I am late on this discussion, but in my experience it depends on the Monitor or HDTV, and even your Graphic Card series, you have. Some setups it looks good and others it doesn't.

When it don't look good on, keep at default.

With my Graphic Card series and Monitor, if I turn it off, my image will be black and white, but all the colors look great with it at 60% or more. It depends!

I want Nvidia to have it apply to more games also. So that the desktop color setting can apply to what ever game I want.
