First of all, is Direct to Drive a reputableplace to purchase games from? Do you have to be a member or anything? I have no experience with this website, but they have some incredible prices. I'm shopping for a new game. I typically play first person shooters with the likes of CoD and Crysis. I typically dont play RPGs, but D2D has Fallout 3 for 15.00!! Of the following games which one would be your choice...BF:BC2, Fallout3, Mass Effect 1&2, Dead Space, Splinter Cell:Conviction Thanks for any advice or input.

yeah i have used D2D a few times and i've had no problems. Although i would say it's become a bit redundant with the likes of Steam these days.

You need to be a member. You can use your IGN account if you have one. Use their download manager, it's more convenient. You'll download the game's setup files and then install it. The game keys are either emailed or displayed on your account page. You can download a game as many times as you want and you can burn the setup files to a DVD.

And get the Mass Effect bundle.

I've used them once and found the service to be quite good. You will need to make an account, and I do recommend using their download manager/Comrade, but you won't need to run it to play your game or anything. It's a fine store.

I've had no problems with D2D at all. The only niggle is that their download speed is quite slow.
