Dirt 2 is way too easy even on the highest difficulty, if Dirt 2 is hard then CMR 5 is impossible :P

I'm the opposite. I find the rally races to be the easiest. It's the ones with other cars in my way that give me a headache. I've got to batter my way through them to thr front before I can make decent time.

The only races I found remotely intense, because of the difficulty, were the events with trucks (the one that has Dodge Ram), I almost lost 1st place, the ending was me jumping over the first car and winning (on a jungle map, also don't remember the name).

I only ever stood any chance in the Truck/Buggy Land Rush events once I got hold of the Toyota trophy truck - I found the big trucks and buggies just far too difficult to control.

Rallying is won or lost in the corners - brake going in, and set the car up with a loose diff and front biased brakes helps (or that's what I found!). Putting your foot down half way through the corner usually slides the back out if you do it right.

The rally events are the most fun. Clearly they had to emphasize this in Dirt 3 so I'm glad they did. The races with all the trucks annoy the hell out of me. In baja I'll go over the first jump and all the vehicles in front of me seem to change lanes and dart to the side, with someone ramming me in to a wall. Fun..

I personally think the rally racing is fantastic and just the right difficulty. It might take some getting used to if you are used to more arcady racers. Buggies on the other hand I hate.

Hmm well i think im the opposite because i prefer baja and rally cross because at least then i know if im keeping up with the other cars, and i can ram them out the way lol. I dont know, the rallying just seems too difficult for me, like you need to know the course inside out, maybe its because im drifting too much around the corners or something which is losing me time
