Disconnecting Hard Drive Question...

I have two hard drives in my computer, and one of them is pretty much dead (not the OS hard drive). If I disconnect the SATA cables from this drive, will there be any repercussions I should know about? All it has on it are files, all the OS stuff is on the other drive.

You shouldn't have a single problem with doing that so long as there are no installed programs on that drive that you use. If so, then you simply need to reinstall them on your primary.
