is it ok to disk defrag

1. my extra internal hdd where i store my games? (not the one with OperSys on it )

2. external hdd ?

Defragmentation improves drive performance and lowers wear-and-tear on moving parts.:)

Not just HDD can be defragmented, even the pendrives and also storage cards can be defragmented. If you're using vista, you can defrag it but you've may didn't know when this process finishes. You can use these softwares like Smart defrag and Auslogics disk Defrag.

NEVER defragment flash memory like USB stick, SD cards, MS Pro Duo card or any other type of flash memory. INCLUDING Solid State Disks.

This will make them die FASTER.
