The fan on my ATI card was failing and causing it to overheat so I switched back to the onboard card. I went into the bios, switched the video to onboard and now I can't get an image on my monitor, its just black.

Any tips on how to get this working?

and you need to REMOVE the gpu not just alter the bios.

I hooked the monitor back to the computer and the gpu has been removed already. Just stuck with a black screen and if I unplug the monitor cable from the computer I get the no input signal on my monitor. This is where my confusion is on what to try next =\

Did you uninstall the ATI drivers before removing it?

I'm pretty certain I uninstalled the drivers but im not 100% sure I cleaned them out properly. I'm just about to try the cmos reset now.

Either ur on board Gpu got burnt or u may have not shifted the bios config to the onbord Graphics controller ... try to put it on auto detect .. This has nothing to do with drivers ... Try cleaning the socket plugs and see if all pins are OK ..

Try checking ur Dimms(Ram) are placed tight and correctly ,sometimes loose Dimms also cause this prob.

Try flashing ur Bios(although ii think its irrelevant) or just try resetting it via the jumper.
