Display problem?

My 2600XT's fan quit spinning, im assuming it failed so I wanted to switch back over to the onboard gpu in the meantime. I went into the bios and changed the primary display to onboard and now I can't get a display from the onboard port and from the video card port. I'm uncertain what to do to even get an image to appear on my monitor!

Help?

Did you actually take the 2600xt out of the system? If not, I would try that.
