which do y'all prefer? i noticed A LOT of people prefer LCD's and plasma's and not sure why since DLP's produce the best picture. they are brighter, have better color, and no longer have rainbow effect which was the only problem with the DLP before. LCD's still have problems with fast moving objects and screen door effect and plasmas have problems with degradation over time. i really dont see a big deal at all with the fact you cant hang up a DLP, i prefer a TV on a stand anyways so i can put my other electronics in it.

lcd tvs are popular cus they come in many sizes and are cheap and light . lcds suck at colour theres are alot of problems with them as well . if you want a mega tv dlp is the best . plasma can be a bit of a pain but it has very good colour.

I have a phillips 42 inch Plasma and im satisfied. I wanted to go LCD but the color on my Plasma is great. Regardless of what choice too make as far as the three, hell, either one is a better choice than a regular tv. Just go with whatever one gets your attention most.

imo I like LCD better, the colors are a little bit more 'real' feeling. DLP makes the colors way to vibrant. When was the last time you saw someone wearing a red shirt that seemed to glow? I setup an LCD projector in my living room, 120-inches, I love it. The whole setup was less than $3k.

holy batman, 120 inches?!?!? i thought my 61 inch TV was kind of pushing it! anyways, as for the DLP being too "vibrant", you just have to mess with the picture settings. what you see on sales floor is a factory preset which is crap.
