Do ATI Radeon video cards work with Intel Prossesors?

If this is going to be your first ATI card, then you will only need to have the drivers, and yes it is compatible with the processor. Just make sure your Mobohas the right slot ( AGP or PCIe ).

Running an Intel e6600 and ATI 1900XTX just fine on a Asus P5B Deluxe mobo.

dude dont buy a comp from alienware build it yourself you could save like 3 thousand dollars

Integration and getting the right bios settings for optimal performanceis easier with AMD/ATI combos and Intel/Nvidia combos but if someone is making the computer for him he (hopefully) won't have to mess with that. Additionally crossfire and SLiare exclusive to each camps mainboards.

Answer: If you're someone who doesn't do any of their own technical work and aren't planning on running multiple GPU's(Buying from Alienware and not using Crossfire or SLi)it's a non-issue.
