Do holographic/projection keyboards really work?

And if so, are there any that someone here could recommend for a Windows 7 PC as well as an iPad 2?

I haven't tried one, but even if they do work, there's a bigger issue inherent to such keyboard designs. NO TACTILE FEEDBACK. Imagine typing something on a flat surface for a while. That's going to be total murder on your fingertips. As for compatibility, they're probably Bluetooth, in which case they'd work with any Bluetooth-equipped PC or any iOS device.

We have one at my office. Its interesting but not something anyone would want to use full time. It does indeed bug yer fingers after a little while. But as far as accuracy, it has always seemed to know what you are trying to type.
