do i need all the parts of guild wars to play guild wars eye of the north??

can someone tell me i wanna play guild wars.

but i don't know if i can play guild wars eye of the north without the other game parts of guild wars (guild wars,guild wars factions,guild wars nightfall)

so plz tell me if i can play guild wars when i only buy guild wars eye of the north

You cannot play the Guild Wars: Eye of the North (GWEN) expansion without owning at least one of the three campaigns.

However, you play GWEN with any combination of owned campaigns (i.e. one of three, two of three, or all of them).

You just need ONE of the following:

Prophecies.

Factions.

or

Nightfall.

You also need to have a level 20 cgaracter to enter Eye of the North, but that does not take that long, if that is all you are looking to do. The easiest game to buy to achieve a level 20 character is Factions. Factions also has the most options for PvP as Eye of the North offers no PvP at all. Factions is my least favorite of the three as far as PvE goes, but you will have plenty of PvE in Eye of the North. You would have no access to the Dervish or Paragon profession with this game.

Nightfall would be a nice choice for you because of the added heroes and LOTS of skills. The only characters you would have no access to is Assassin and Ritualist.

Peophecies would give you access to the most content PvE wise as it is the largest game, but you would have zero access to Ritualist, Assassin, Dervish, or Paragon.
