I have a graphics card with 15 pin D-Sub,DVI and HDMI. but my monitor only supports 15 pin D-Sub.

I'm currently directly connecting the 2 via D-Sub. Would using a DVI to VGA converter improve the performance. Thanks for your help :).

no it would be pointless converting a digital signal to analog when theres already a vga port just stick with vga if that's all your monitor supports.
