Yeah, most games nowadays, except some sloppy console ports (*cough*Mercs 2*cough*), support 16:10 resolutions like 1680x1050. Half-Life 2, a 2004 game, even supports it and supports it with a proper FOV.
Some games like Battlefield 2, though, require some editing of some files to run at 1680x1050, though I believe the next patch for BF2 will add widescreen support.
because im getting a new lcd that has that native resolution, and i want to make sure that most games out have that resolution as an optionLach0121
most new games, even the free ones now support 1680x1050, and if they don't i just edit the registry so games like wc3, etc DO have my maximum resolution. in short, yes, 95% of games these days (excluding console games) can run in 1680x1050. unless the game is free/cheap, and you wouldnt want to play those games(ussually) anyway.
