Only one's i've played recently online are company of heroes and left 4 dead and the population is great in both :]

Empire - don't know I have enough problems playing it single player, to be exact I already gave up on it after 4 hours

L4D - joke? of course,tenths of thousands

WiC - last time I checked around 70 any time

Sup Com - around 400-500 last time I checked, don't know now

Civ 4 is terrible online! Its much much more oriented to be a singleplayer game.

L4D-Lots although sometimes impossible to find server (broken system)

Empire- Virtually no one is on-line, which is unfortunate cause it's an epic game once you get people.

I disagree. 2142 is less populated than Bf2. Last time I checked numbers, 2142 was far begind Bf2.

Not a lot of people play Empire multiplayer, its more of a single player oriented game. This might change when the multiplayer campaign is released though.FPS_Gamer123

The Company of Heroes community is still pretty big. I've never had trouble being automatched and the game list is always of decent size.

Sorry if I worded badly, but I meant for you to list games that are not MMO or CoD. I have already played CoD4 to death, and yes it was amazing. I'm just sick of that series for now. Battlefield, on the other hand, is much larger-scale and more strategic. I'd like to know if battlefield 2 and/or 2142 still have loads of players online. Thx

That is a useful link, but it does not show strategy games (where's CoH and/or Supcom?). Also, how often do they update that? There are some pretty old games up high on the list (quake 3: arena, SWAT 4, etc.).
