My computer's name is Snappy, and it's been that ever since I've been using Windows, which is a long time. I name my hard drives too but only names that apply to the content on each or it's purpose such as games, movies, main, backup, etc. A friend of mine named his master drive "Joe" and his secondary "Lou", as in Jehovah and Lucifer. Surprisingly enough they have no conflicts.
Absolutely. My laptop is named Black Lotus, because it looks like a cross between Darth Vader and a black sports car. The gaming tower is The Eagle, and the back-up is The Falcon (because she doesn't look like much, but she's got it where it counts).
Mine is called 'beasty', since i never had a high end pc (well at least not as high end as the one i have now) My previous one was called 'gintonic' I also kiss it goodnight.
My PC is called Shelly. I name all of my technology. Current phone is called Tim and the semi broken one im getting from my gf is going to be called Eve.
I call mine "Old Yeller" because its reliable and fun and can play modern games well, but its aging and eventually I'll have to take it out the back and shoot it in the face.
I name my PCs after ranks(for their era.) I just fixed up an older PC with a P4 and 512Mbs of RAM. I called it the Marquis. If I were to make something ie a General for today's standards, it would be like a 7970 i7 watercool setup. A private would be like a single core two-gig RAM 200GB HDD intergrated graphics rig.

I'll hail it as the beast when I put something new in it, but that rapidly turns into "you f-ing heap of junk" and "Stop giving me error messages" and when it finally works again it's back to being "computer".
So no, I don't have a name for it, just various expletives.

i always give them silly names...its for fun at the end of the day :). my previous money no object PC (seriosuly...1,200 euro for the CPU alone...common sense out the window :P) was called fluffy. sadly fluffy died after much use so my current PC, if you cant see my sig, is called mittens. mittens is a more sensible PC. my laptop (going on 7 years old now but still working like a champ...though the screen light is failing) is called fuzzy. my next computer (probably a new laptop) will be called cuddels and after that itll probably be muffin. all hail mittens! \0/

I don't really name them, no. I often refer to my primary desktop as "the flagship", solely because it's my most powerful system. I also have a "classic gaming desktop" in reserve that I've occasionally thought of designating "XPerience", in reference to the fact that it's AMD Athlon XP-based and runs Windows XP (solely for game compatibility reasons). (Or I could go for an nVidia pun, what with it being an nForce2 board and having a GeForce 6800 Ultra and all.) No such punny names for a planned third desktop, though, which will definitely be built for Windows 98 SE since the aforementioned classic gaming desktop isn't old enough for some Win98SE-era games. Or a possible fourth desktop built for DOS games (when DOSBox isn't enough), jammed to the hilt with ISA sound cards. There's also my notebooks, which I refer to by model name/number. Not a problem when I never own two of the same model.
