No I dont, I hate that it slides and creates too much grip along with nasty grime. To my surprise my crappy table is smoother on the surface on where I lay my mouse over.
I use an old Func 1030 with smooth side up. I have been using this thing for over 4 years and it is still as func-tional (har!) as the day I bought it. I still use a wired laser mouse and a USB refresh rate hack, so I still appreciate the wire clip that comes integrated into it.
Definitely wouldn't game without one. It's fine for casual use, and people with older optical mice are probably fine on polished wood-grain desks, but anyone using a laser mouse definitely should be using a pad of some sort.RayvinAzn
Just to put it out there, I havent used it for four years with laser mices, on some sort of artificial surface found on typical computer desk.
Nope. I've used my desk, my couch surface, even my jeans. But, no mousepad ever since the mouse became optical.
lol but who uses a falcon??!?!?!? Anyway, i always use a mouse pad. I even went to the extents of wrapping my crappy mouse pad in paper so that it had a smooth yet rough surface. My desk is way too smooth otherwise.Falcon users have no use for mouse pads. But no, I don't use a mouse pad for my actual mouse anyway.

Nope, I can't stand them anymore; no benefit to using them.
edit: crappy ones that is..... I don't want to spend 30 bucks plus for a mouse pad.
[QUOTE="Me_Ann"]i've actually compared it to a normal mousepad, they're so nice, so much more accurate. I got the eXactMat as a gift, and I like it. You can flip it over from "speed" to control" textures, and its a solid piece of aluminum. Its easy to transport in my LAN bag with my laptop as well. Would I have bought it for myself? Probably not, but when I need a new one, I will probably consider Razer-type pads/mats again. You guys should try the $50 Razer mousepad! lol

I use a generic run in the mill pad i got from high school. hot-pressed an image of Zeratul onto it. wouldn't game without one.
Im using the razer goliathus mouse mat, maybe expensive for what it actually is. But its very nice and comfortable when mousing around the screen
