I sure do. I was out of the PC gaming scene for about the past 3 years and then 3 months ago I was moving overseas so I packed up all my consoles and bought a gaming laptop. Since then I have been on a rampage picking up all of the big time titles on Steam (Orange Box, COD4, Bioshock, COH, Unreal package, CS:S) as well as newer titles like Sins, Age of Conan, Mass Effect, Supreme Commander, Battlefield 2, C&C3, and a few others. I figured I had missed out on so many great games that I wanted to get my hands on them since they can be found for fairly cheap. I actually have so many games its almost impossible to get through any of them. Sounds weird I know but I just don't have the time at the moment to warrant all of these purchases. Of course I had to splurge and buy Guitar Hero 3 (had it on PS2) because I was tinkering around with Frets on Fire and I HAVE to have the guitar controller.

Anyway else enormously swamped in an endless sea of games?

yeah, i too have way more games than what i can finish. whats strange is that i only finish fps games and console games. also i have too many games for the same reason as you. my computer cant run anything past 2003, so since there are so many great games of the past that are cheap, i just buy a lot of them.

I don't think there are enough great games to have too many games.

Unless you have some kind of urge to buy mediocre games and then play them to completion, or unless you can game for about ten minutes a day, I just don't see it being possible.

I have a stack of jewel cases and paper packets under my desk containing 30+ PC games.

On top of that, I have around 10 games stored in those plastic DVD cases.

I've played them all through, I think. But I'm running of space.

I don't play crappy games so no. If I don't like it my friend gets it, I throw it in closet or I just flat out burn it.

there's really only one game I want this summer and only a few I'm looking forward to this fall/winter. There's not enough long-lasting games or good games and I don't buy too many games at once.

I don't have too many PC games. I just recently got back into PC gaming after a 4 year hiatus. Consoles on the other hand, I have well over a 100 or so. I lost count a while a go...

Have you played either The Neverhood or PowerSlave?

I ask as I just got The Neverhood today and I've fiddled around with it and it seems like a pretty good game so far. It's clearly flawed in some ways, and there's some (understandably) archaic gameplay mechanics, but I like it a lot. If you weren't aware, it's going to get a claymation feature length (hopefully) movie based on it, written and directed by the game's original creator (which is what inspired me to get the game but whatever!).

On PowerSlave, which is called Exhumed in UK (you poor American bastards with your awful game names!), I've never been able to get it running in XP. In fact, I couldn't even get it installed. I played the whole game on Saturn when I was young, so I know what I'm missing, but I would love to be able to play it again. Any help?

I've not played it yet, no. It's on my massive, threatening-to-crush-me to-play list. I had heard about it getting the new claymation, so I suppose I should play it soon before the movie comes out.

I play it on DOSBox using the DOS version, as I too cannot get the Win95 executable version to work. And I don't think you're missing anything, really. It got a very lackluster score here at Gamespot, and having played about ten minutes of it back when I first installed it, it honestly seems to deserve that score. It was... not good. It had the feel of a console FPS ported poorly to the PC (which is weird to say about such an old game). But then, maybe you wouldn't think so since you enjoyed it when you were young.

Oh, and yes, the US name is really stupid, I have no idea why they changed it.

Yes, for the last two years I have been console exclusive for the most part (couldn't afford a new gaming pc) now that I have one, I have a ton of pc games and not enough time to play them all, I will eventually get to them I guess, but after looking at some of the pc games that's comming out this year, don't know yet.

Well make sure you love the hell out of those two games before you move on. Don't make the same mistake I did! I have a crapload of PC games but I haven't beaten hardly any of them. To combat this, I made a list of my single player games (ones I have and haven't beaten) and I have to beat at least 10 out of 12 before I allow myself to buy a new game.

I've been gaming since I was about five, over fourteen and a half years ago, and I've accumulated them over that time. I should note that by "play through," I mean all the way through. I've briefly played most of them, but I've not finished or even played more than maybe twenty minutes into a great deal of them.

i have about 8 games i heven't played yet, mainly because i spotted bargain buys so got them while they were there, also this site has introduced me to/got me more interested in quite a few games which i've then gone and bought.

but my genre tastes are fairly narrow so i'll run out of games eventually

No, I don't have enough games. 8) I've been buying a lot of older games lately, since they can be found so cheap and I just love old games.

No, I don't have enough. I am somewhat of a collector now and keep wanting to add games to my collection. My problem is however, I must play the games as well instead of just letting them sit.

Definitely I have a lot of PC games. Started to play since 1995 and from that time till now I have been an addicted collector, and continue to bee so. Stack's of games are all over my room and other rooms, counting them seems useles but I would say there are more than 2000. I may look weird but i would call it a hobby. I started to log them on gamespot but there were to many freakin games.
We have people who collect coins, pictures, cars, cards, etc... I collect Games :D

A person who truly loves games, any games, will find him/her self with too many games. And I just happen to be one of them :D
