Do you know about the video game Worlds.net?

There is an MMO chatroom like Habbo Hotel and Second life. It's called Worlds.net. It's the first of it's kind. Very ambitious.

Anyway. I heard it has malware. Is this much true?

I don't know about malware but why won't you just play Second Life if that's appealing to you?
