Do you like equiping grenades?

What i mean is, in some games (battlefield 2) you equip the grenade and throw it, but in others (CoD) you just press a button and throw it. Which do you prefer? I prefer just pressing a button and throwing a grenade, because it is much faster.

Weird question. Yeah, I prefer pressing a grenade button. Doubt anyone prefer equipping them first..

I prefer to equip it rather than press a button, although the other way doesn't bother me.

Grenade spam is one of the worst gameplay tactics out there. Just "pressing the button" helps with it, so anything that reduces it and stresses skill rather than luck to kill is a win in my book.

Equip it, aswell as with knifes, all the quickbutton stuff is for consoles if you ask me.

Equipping them makes it a tactical choice rather than burst damage.

Equip first - that way I can scan around to make sure there isn't a better target first.

I think the dedicated grenade throw has caused some issues with spamming but on the other hand it is annoying to have to switch to a grenade and then throw it. Would be nice to have something of both worlds. Have an option to equip a grenade and then you can decide when to throw it. Yet also have a button that will both equip and then throw the grenade.

I like equipping them. Same for knives. Hotkeys lead to spam and very akward moments and general weirdness. When you have hotkeys for things, people tend to spam them, whereas if you have to equip something, people tend to use it with more caution because they have to put away another item, like their rifle, to use it.

I prefer the grenade button... it's only ever a problem because games let you spam them. If you only had one grenade per life or something it'd still be a tactical decision.
