Do You Like Street Fighter IV?

Yeah, it's great.
I'm good against the computer, where I do just fine on medium-hard difficulty... But online multiplayer is very different, I've yet to win one round online.
Not at all
Graphics is ugly (specially character graphics)
Only few different fighting-options for each character
The new characters are boring
The old characters are worse than in SF2
The menu is way too console'ish
Everytime it tells you to press something, it tells you what to press if you have a gamepad (so if you're using a keyboard you have to guess what to press and most of the time they key doesn't make any sense... sometimes you have to press ESC to go back other times you have to press B)
Who you are fighting against doesn't make sense (e.g. Guile's mission is to find Blanka... the first person to fight is... Blanka... wow)
I would definately prefer Mortal Kombat or Tekken to be released on PC
I grew up with Street Fighter 2, so I have to say that I like SF 4, I thing the graphics look nice when maxed out.

have you played any street fighter before , if so , you must love this game ( if you are a street fighter gamer ) i think all SF gamers agree with me .
Are you serious? The graphics are some of the best. The characters are beautifully animated and show great attention to detail and art direction. There's a lot of variety and strategies for each character Maybe they're not amazing, but it's fun to play with them They made the transition to 3d in a great way Agree, the menu is crappy Just press B to go back and ESC to jump videos, intros and continue after losing It has always been like that. There's even more story now and more dialogues according to the characters Mortal Kombat Vs DC was quite a failure and I don't care too much for TekkenNot at all

EDIT: Something is seriously wrong here with this forum software, it keeps killing the first quote: "Are you serious? The graphics are some of the best. The characters are beautifully animated and show great attention to detail and art direction"
I've seen 5-10 year old games that made the transition better. To be hornest I'm actually having a hard time remembering having seen games of any genre that made the transition to 3D any worse than this (with the exception of those extremely cheaply made tycoon games)

I have a hard time finding the story, though I have only finished the game for a few of the characters (none of the new characters)

I have never played MK VS DC. I have only played MK1, MK2 and MK4... MK2 is IMHO the best, still much better than this new street fighter
They should release a new MK game for the PC, I would buy it on release date

Yeah, played SF2 a lot back in the days (also tried SF2 Turbo a few times... I believe that was what it was called), but as soon as I got my hands on Mortal Kombat 2 for my Amiga, I stopped playing SF2
It's ok. But characters are way too americanized with their quotes.
I thought the characters lost a bit of their charisma.
Lol @ the Mortal Kombat 2 comparison. You're comparing a shallow, unimpressive fighter to one of the best fighting games of this generation.KHAndAnime
Yeah I know, but this is about SF4, so I had to include the shallow, unimpressive SF4 in the comparison. If I didn't include it, I would go off topic
i really hope Tekken 6 (hands down best fighting game of 2009) or BlazBlue (markedly better than SF4) would get released on pc instead... :(

lol at not knowing that its all just personal opinions
As I amaccustomed to Guilty Gear series, street fighter IV seems so simple. Almost all of the super and revenge moves are pretty much the same and most characters have hadouken moves with slightly changes. Guilty Gear had many characters each with unique abilities. Even robo-ky was planned to be a clone for ky, but it's the most different character in the game.

Orly?, and it's an opinion I'm still :lol:ing at. It's like comparing Arnold Schwarzenegger to Marlon Brando, and saying how much better Arnold clearly is.Orly?, and it's an opinion I'm still :lol:ing at.
