I hope so, they are suppose to be changing everything bad about the first one so I am hopeful.

The videos I'm seeing look pretty fantastic. I just get the feeling that AC 2 to is going to be everything that I was hoping for in the original game, but didn't get. I also think that the PC version is going to blow the console version out of the water. I hated the 360 version of AC, but the PC version looked about ten times better, and for that reason, and also because I knew what to expect of the game, I quite liked it on the PC.

Also, we're not seeing too many sandbox titles this year - so hopefully AC 2 is going to make up for that.

I've got my fingers crossed on this one, big time. The game seems to be coming along quite nicely. I'm definitely buying it for the PC - no question about that.

even if its repeatitive as the first one, ill still get it because i like the amount of inovation put into it. its a unique game and theres just not much other games like it

I didn't have as much problems with the repetitive missions as I had with the limited ways to complete them. Just let me mix it up a little and I am satisfied.

Honestly, I had huge expectations for AC1. So great in fact, I may have caused the game's demise in my eyes myself. It was amazing at first, but I had to put it down relatively soon after buying it cause it got so boring. Interrogate here, findsynchronization spot,pick pocket here, find symbols here, assassinate this guy. Repeat.

I think the second game, however, will fix this problem. Something as simply allowing us to jump in water helps with the open world aspect. From the videos I've seen and what I've read, they have added a ton of content. Buying upgrades and weapons, new people and missions, different crowd controls...should be a significant improvement over the 1st one... crossing my fingers at least.

It's not going to be revolutionary and I believe my money will be better spent on other titles this year. I enjoyed the first one for the most part but it had many flaws. If they address those then I may pick it up when the price has dropped.
