Well it should be fine up till the alien parts. I expect the mp to be just as horrible as the first though.EndersAres
I think they said they were going to make the ending also very open.
I personally, had no problem with the Alien parts, it was only the fight on the ship I didn't;t like.
I'm glad they are intensifying the combat also.
my pc isnt half good enough to play crysis but from what ive seen on youtube, THAT GAME IS 100% EPIC WIN.
graphics = win
gameplay = win
physiscs = win
win = win
More of the same, which is a good thing. Slight improvements are expected, though the game could end up overall a little better or a little worse than Crysis. I have no doubt it will be no less than phenomenal, though.

I must be the only one who enjoyed the alien levels more than the rest of the game (well, not Core, of course). Sure, they were completely linear, but that's what made it so fun. The action was paced really well and you didn't have to cloak around in the bushes all the time. If fact, I would go so far as to say it was the most fun I've had in a game for a really long time.
more of the same, expansions are like that 95% of the time.nutcrackr
Except that Warhead is technically not an expansion. It's a standalone game. As such, I would expect some significantly new content. If we wanted more of the same, we could just replay Crysis and save some big bucks.
it's going to be more of the same, which is both good and bad. i mean, it's a standalone expansion, not a sequel. all of the non-alien parts will be good while all of the alien parts will just blow.
the multiplayer's probably going to still suck as bad as Crysis which is understandable because the singleplayer is the focus of the game.
i really don't expect much since we already felt the initial impact of Crysis. We'd need an entirely new/full-blown sequel to get all that surprised
More of an improvement, as most people have already said, there focussing on Optimizations from PC's of shapes and sizes, only problem, they made it clear in quite a few interviews the graphics are going to be higher than it was in the Original Crysis... *shutters*
Just my 2 cents
There isn't room for vast improvement, nor does the game need major improvements. Crysis is a spectacular game.
I have read that the entire game will be less linear, and I think there are good odds that the nanosuit will now be worth something when fighting aliens.
I still fail too see why Crysis Warhead is a 15 gig game.
15gigs Vs 6gigs(Crysis)
Uncompressed data?
Edit: For gigs.

My Crysis folder is 6.22GB, not 2. But yeah, 15 seems like a lot.

Indeed, curious to find out why CW is a 15 gig game?[QUOTE="JP_Russell"][QUOTE="OoSuperMarioO"]I still fail too see why Crysis Warhead is a 15 gig game.

Indeed, curious to find out why CW is a 15 gig game?Could be they don't mean the game is actually 15GB, just that you want to have that much before installing in order to have space to spare (since filling up your hard drive too much is not good). Not sure.

Ya most SQ put the HDD space more then it is needed.
warhead will start from place where ended crysis?Toriks
No. It takes place during the same time as Crysis, only now you're playing as Psycho, playing out what events unfolded for him while Nomad was off doing his thing.

Storytelling perhaps?

I don't think we should be holding out hope for that, though. Crappy stories are an occupational hazard for FPS players.
I'd be happy with just technical improvements. Hopefully they release a "Warhead" patch for the original Crysis so it runs more efficiently as well.SimpJee
Well, seeing as how they want Crysis to work with Warhead, would it not be a good idea if they're running the same version of the engine? I'm certainly hoping they release a patch, but I figure they have to for compatibility's sake.
