No, I'm not gonna start the stupid argument about WoW takes your life, etc.
I hate WoW because of this:
The Warcraft games have always had a special place in my heart, and Warcraft III and its expansion are still one of my most played games, but if there was something I loved about those games it's the storytelling. The story, lore, universe of Warcraft is simply fascinating, and all the stories and plot developed on Warcraft III were excellent IMO, much much better than most games these days.
And I remember playing the bonus campaign that comes with TFT, I remember the cliff-hanger ending along the lines of this: "Stay tuned on the warcraft website for the continuation of this story...". Well so I did, but when WoW came out all my hopes were crushed, I was so hoping the continuation of Rexxar's story, but WoW being the most profitable game in the market right now, and with its upcoming expansion, I don't think there will ever be a proper sequel to the Warcraft series. I mean, come on! I think Thrall and Illidan are killed daily in WoW. I want to know what happened to Arthas, etc. No spoilers here, please...
*sheds a tear*
TL;DR: I hate WoW because it ruined the Warcraft lore.
