House of dead, is that the correct name? latest one is house of dead 4 if i remember well, and its lenght is less than 1hour, it's just an arcade machine game with final bosses n that stuff..
Prince of Persia 2008.. pretty short but very interesting. Kane & Lynch 2 had a very short but enjoyable campaign. I haven't tried the first one yet...

Most FPS games are around 6-8 hours long. Bastion is 5 hours I think.

Prey was about 8 hours for me. Medal of Honor (new one) was 6 hours. Singularity was about 10 hours. Timeshift was about 10 hours. Sin Episodes: Emergence was 4 hours.
Wanted: Weapons of Fate... probably the shortest game I've ever played XD. Crysis 2 is fairly short... bad company 2... both the rainbow six vegas games.
Is Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising really that short? The original Dawn of War II certainly took more than 10-15 hours to finish. EDIT: Oh, and FEAR 1 and 2 definitely weren't that short. Do you play on Easy or something?

Actually I disagree, there are some really good mobile games out there...
Metro 2033 is fairly short, first playthrough (I am rally methodical and try to look everywhere for weapons and ammo) went on to about 8 hours, after thier overhaull of it, I took another run, clocking in at 6.
Oh and amnesia were not too long either, was it? well depends on how quickly one could figure out the puzzles, but I aint some kind of puzzle master, but I finished it fairly fast (atleast it felt fast) A game I can highly recommend
Nobody mentioned Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days? I think that was the shortest retail game I ever played (3-4 hrs). It's an ok shooter. Usually $5 during steam sales.
