I was wondering if someone could send me an invite to the trial.
I really want to buy it, but I would like to at least try it our first haha

Then why on earth has this game been the single driving force behind NCsoft's profits recently?
Everybody (and I mean everybody) that I've found says it's just a massive grind-fest, and yet at the same time, its hours logged on XFire are huge, and it was solely responsible for something like a 1000% increase on NCSoft revenue just a while ago. It's queer Maybe its all the asians.
Played it for well over a month or so. Gave up on it. The by the books mechanics, complete underused of flying mechanics, and yes it is true - the grinding, made it all very bitter in the end for me. Didn't help that my whole legion gave up on it before me.skrat_01
I still dabble in Aion from time to time. Though just as you, my legion gave up on it after about a month. A handful of them were irritated that no one hit max level yet in the first month and the few that made it to level 40 or so were irritated that so few other people (in the legion or out of it) were at that level yet.
I've got a few characters up around level 30, the highest being my Spiritmaster at level 33. I suppose I'll play around for a bit more in the next couple of months (seeing as how I was given a few 30day time cards) to see if anything new and exciting happens....though I'm not holding my breath.
