I'v just replayed Blood Omen 2 .... & as allways the story is the best out there not evan in movies or books i have seen such deep roots to the whole fantasy that LoK presents .... so since i saw that Crystal Dynamics are starting to remake some of Eidos old games ( TR: Anniversery) .... its not a bad ideea that after they finish Tomb Raider :Legend II ... to remake the whole series of Legacy of Kain in 1one game but put itin chapters .... ( i mean the games starts with Blood Omen 1-2 chpathers & it finishes with Soul Reaver 1-2 ... Defiance ) .... they have the voice acting they just need to reinvent the gameplay but maintain the same lvl design we are used to & just remake the cutscenes with the new engine but with the same SUPERB ,BREATH TAKING voice acting ..... so if something like this happends ( i hope :roll: ) how whould you react ?
I did when it was sort of new like 5 years ago. Storyline wasn't too great, neither was the gameplay that made it seem like a crappy 3d platformer. Go to your local video game establishment and buy a nintendo 64 and Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and you'll instantly have a much, much better game. Voice acting was the one strong thing that LoK had going for it, and even that is common in most new games with important characters.
No, but I like it A LOT. I played all of them except for blood omen 1 because it doesn't work on XP without doing a bunch of stuff... I played the demo of it though
I still play the Legacy of Kain games from time to time. Sure its not the best game but I find it to be a good and enjoyable game, with great voice acting of course.
I like the Legacy of Kain games and if they remade them I'd gladly put forward whatever they were charging to play it with updated graphics and whatnot, don't see it happening - but if they did I would.
i played all the legacy of kain games too but blood omen 1 worked fine on my pc without doing anything. i have problems with soul reaver 1 that one doesnt work. about the new graphics thing i was hoping for a new game .. i think it would have been a good idea to play as a hylden but... i gues this will never happen
Played them all, but Blood Omen 2 and Defiance were the worst out of the series. BO2 because of the lame story and Defiance because of the weird camera angles. I really don't get why they changed the camera from 3rd person to weird angle view.
