Does Anyone still Think Spore Will get PC GOTY?

Reviews are coming in and they're not bad; but certainly not indicating that this is the best PC game ever, if even this year.

Do you still think Spore will win PC GOTY, and if not, what do you think will?

My bets are on left 4 Dead.

Fallout 3 is likely, considering how everyone (critics) loved oblivion. However if it's anything like that overrated Oblivion, which I have no reason not to, I'm passing on it.

Don't get me wrong Oblivion was fun, but it did not deserve anthing above an 8.5.

i totally agree, except the part where you wrote that oblivion is fun. but critics will love fallout 3. i'm pretty sure about that. and it'll be in the running for goty, for sure.

i totally agree, except the part where you wrote that oblivion is fun. but critics will love fallout 3. i'm pretty sure about that. and it'll be in the running for goty, for sure.

I hope not.. Unlike you guys alot of people including my self think its one of the most over-rated games ever to grace the gaming scene.. It is a broken rpg plain and simple.. I honestly hope Fallout 3 isn't like this let alone wins the pc goty, over the many promising titles coming out and that are already released.

who's 'you guys'? my guess is that fallout 3 will blow dogs; i'm hoping not and that it'll be a good action-rpg along the lines of mass effect, but i'm not holding my breath. but, at the same time, i'm pretty sure that critics will love fallout 3, and only because they also loved oblivion for whatever reason (and oblivion blew dogs).

I hope it's nothing like Oblivion. If it is, I'll be extremely disappointed.Elann2008

It'll be much smaller/shorter/stripped, more dumbed down and more accessable for the "kiddie" console crowd!

It should get something, since nothings been done like it before. But there are a lot of good games out this year so I'm not sure.

But really Spore doesn't need GOTY to be awesome =P

Spore will certainly get GOTY on many sites. It's absolutely fantastic, too bad some reviewers are expecting again five full games in one package.

I think Sins Of A Solar Empire will get PC GOTY.

L4D, or Crysis Warhead, or Far Cry 2, or SOMETHING else. Knowing it's Valve we're talking about, I'd say L4D has the greatest shot, Crysis Warhead just behind it.
