Does anyone still use XP, and if so why do you still use a 9 year old operating system that even with the best card in the world does not work with Direct 10 and 11 unless you do some tweaks?

i do. simply because im afraid my processor is unable to handle windows 7 and gaming. (core 2 duo e6400 @ 2.13ghz) and quite frankly, im too lazy to figure that out. im getting a new rig in 2-3 weeks anyways, so i dont care.

Windows 7. Less problems than XP oddly enough. Except for my sound card stutters at random times I'm not having audio skips anymore.

I used dualboot with Vista, cos my audio software and drivers worked properly only with XP. No need for that anymore after Win7.

I use XP. Came installed with my pc. Has always worked fine for me so I never felt I need to spend money on upgrading. This computer is breaking down though so it doesnt really matter. I need to buy a new one anyway.

I use both Win 7 (Main OS) and Win XP for older programs or games that dont work in 7. I also have a Virtual Machine with Windows 98 for the really old stuff :P

Not on my main pc.. Thats got 7. Though I do have a couple of older PCs which I use for older DOS games (Warcraft 1 and Quake don't work on my PC... ) which have Windows 98, 95 and some even older ones with 3.1.1 and 3.1 on them...
