SLi is indeed supported, crossfire im not too sure of.

Sli support is supposed to be added in a patch. Some people have reported small gainswith sli. Gamespot showed a 10fps gain with a 2nd 8800gtx.

Most games are only going to give you about 15fps extra. Only a handfull of games like Fear and BF2 give you decent gains with sli. Even then the price-performance ratio is lacking.

Much more hassle with sli also.Having to figure out which sli mode to use for each game or having to create custom profiles. Such a small percentage of gamers use it that its just not well supported.

Wait for the Geforce 9 series in Feb. It will blow away sli'd 8800ultras.
