just kill the processes that you don't need when you play a game, gamebooster does the same but it automates it (and it's actually also a process that you don't 'need' while gaming) so no don't,

Windows 7 with no crap installed and no viruses/malware is pretty much as good as it gets. Dont really need Gamebooster to be honest.

Nothing thats really going to dramaticaly improve your FPS, maybe some cache changes to help loading times on your HDDs but thats about it. Home Premium doesnt really have anything that kills peformance when first installed.
