Does it have the 3 strikes security system? Cause I like to refurnish my system quite a bit, and, like mass effect, ran out of cd key usages, so tell me, does Mercenaries 2 have this problem?

PS - How do you get more cd keys? Do I have to call EA or do I have to buy?

Yes, you must E-mail or call EA to get them to give you another activation.

I'm not actually sure whether or not Mercenarires 2 has the same protection, but so far we've been hearing the game's not so good. I wouldn't even bother to buy it anyways.

Well, kinda only buying it cause the first one was fun, and its a nice easy game, just blowing **** up is good enough for me, and a decent graphical showcase.

I was wondering about this myself. Did you find the info somewhere JP, or are going off of what EA said about their games going forward. I hadn't found any confirmation of the protection used in Mercs 2. I'd really prefer to have to deal with the 3 install limitation as little as possible (already have it with Mass Effect and SporeCC).

One thing I have read is apparently there's no COOP over LAN, only internet. The game would definitely still be playable as COOP for me, so it's not that huge of a deal. It seems silly to need to traverse the internet though when my computers are sitting right near one another, and needing to communicate with a master server could potentially introduce otherwise unnecessary lag.
