My motherboard states it can only handle ram speed of PC2-6400 667/800mhz or PC2-5300 667/800mhz

These rams are PC2-8000 with 1000mhz speed ???

The reason I'm unsure, is a dude from another board told me to get these..

here it says - only pc2-6400 pc2-53300... the other link in the first post states..it can support 800mhz+ and up . doesn't make sense.. I'm a bit confused

yeah it'll work but you'll need to manually adjust it in the BIOS. read the description carefully
