Or perhaps it was for Thanksgiving. But nevertheless there are sales at around that time every year.

ive been "STEAMing" as you call it, since 2005, and theyve had sales around that time for quite awhile, but more specifically, black friday sale since 2009 :|

according to my steam account, i purchased orange box for $7.50 last Nov28 2010 so i think there's a thanksgiving/blackfriday weekend sale or something
Crap, I won't be near my computer this Black Friday! Can I login through any computer through store.steampowered.com, purchase what I want on Black Friday and then download and install when I'm back at my main computer?

Yeah. I've done that a few times at work where i cant (nor would i want to) install Steam.
