Set up is athlon 64 x2 +4200, 2g, 8600 gt xxx, and 300w ps. It was running fine, some games on max settings but overstock had a 550w ps for only $26 so I got it because I plan to upgrade. Will I notice any difference while gaming? thanks.

You find me a good brand-name 550w power supply for $26 and I'll buy a dozen.
