I was wondering, since it's factory overclocked , if it will need alternative cooling soultions because it generates more heat (80 degrees celcius on load). Should I buy a fan for my case? Or are there any cooling units for graqphics cards you would reccomend.

Thanks for any help.

I would suggest just downloading RivaTuner and turning up your fan speed (it comes preset to 29%) before buying any extra cooling, unless you plan to overclock the card further. I have a factory OC'd card and the VRAM kept overheating playing UT3 until I did this :/

What fan speed would you suggest? I would think maybe 40%-50%?

I own an XFX 8600GT XXX, and It runs cool and safe on my stock cooling, I never had a problem with overheating, so I dont think you'll need extra cooling, but If you want to overclock it more, then I would look into it

Just let it run as fast until you are happy with the temp and the noise level.

It depends. I have mine running at 100% at the moment, but the noise doesn't bother me (noise cancelling headphones XD) so it's not a big deal. I'd try running it at a comfortable noise level and if you have no overheating problems, then you're good to go.
