Does this motherboard really fit a crossfire setup?

So this is my motherboard. I don't have another card to test, but I'm finding it hard to believe that another card will fit and bridge. Which PCIE slots am I supposed to use? I figured it would be the first two ( starting from the top ) ..

Sure it will fit and bridge when using the top two PCIe slots... a crossfire connection is about 3 inch/7.5cm, while an SLI bridge is about 4inch/10cm long...

That boards PCI-E specs:

2 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x16 (PCIEX16_1, PCIEX16_2) (Note 1)
1 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x8 (PCIEX8 ) (Note 2)
1 x PCI Express x16 slots, running at x4 (PCIEX4)

You can use any two slots for crossfire, but if you use the top two slots it will give you full x16 bandwidth on that board.

You should have read the notes. It says that when in crossfire, both top slots will operate @x8 speed, which is largely enough for dual GPU gaming by the way...

Nah you've interpreted the notes incorrectly - if the third PCI-E slot is used it takes 8x from the first;

= Trifire @ 8x 8x 8x

(Though this is only possible with a single slot GPU in PCI-E's 2 and 3 (Watercooling/Crappy Cards lol?))

The last slot is x4 so Quadfire would be presumably 8x 8x 8x 4x (with atleast 3 single slots cards obviously)

Crossfire is 16x 16x

Bah in correction of the above - on second thoughts i'd say the x4 slot is the one third from the top thus allowing 3x Dual Slotters @ 8x 8x 8x

If you can see the slot where the second card will go, it can fit :D Just take a good look at the mobo... The card doesn't really go over it, just under
