I have an i5 at 3.3 ghz, not overclocked with a gtx 560ti at whatever the stock settings are. One HDD.

600 watt corsair bottom mounted PS and a mid tower case with one 120mm fan.

I have been playing Crysis 2 and things seem to get a little warm so I took the side off the case just to be safe. Just not sure what is too hot and what's normal. My bios says the cpu is about 48 degrees at idle which seems warm but I have no idea.

I don't know about your cpu right off hand but I would say less than 80c at load. For the 560ti the max safe temp is 99c but I would try to keep it under 80c as well. Do you use EVGA Precision or MSI Afterburner? I would set up a custom fan profile with one of those programs to help keep the gpu cooler.

I have one fan blowing out in the back. There is a fan port on the top of the case that I figure i can use to blow air in, but it's really close to the MB so not sure if there would even be space.

I never installed EVGA precision but I'm going to load it now and check into the fan profiles.

Top fans should exhaust. What case do you have?

it never hurts to have more case cooling add another couple fans and you should be good :)
