Does this sound like a good game idea?

So I was just watching my brother play that Wii Play tanks game on our Wii. All my friends love it, so do I. So I was thinking why not make an online multiplayer version of this for the PC, where you could make your own maps? I was thinking the maps would be bigger, there would be powerups, and since the maps are bigger, you'd scroll around instead of one small, confined space. How does that sound to you?

I'd get it if a proper PC version would be made but this REALLY needs a remake.
