You know like in Riddick Escape From Butcher Bay, Halo 2 , and proabably a few others. (Swat 4 i think has it)

But i want to see my person in HL 2 , Unreal games , Flight Sim X

It all contributes to immersion and I can't see any reason why you shouldn't so its got my vote and endorsement! Once this poll is complete developers will have no choice but to show bodies in games!!

Well...it always did annoy me that in some games if I look down...I have no feet.

Yeah, I fully support seeing my body in games. It might just be that the level designs in Source games tend to have lots of high and low places, which would make it cumbersome to have your body blocking your view

Yes, it ruins immersion not being able to see your body.

Im not sure why it would be any more beneficial to see your body ingame, I found the feature cool, when they featured it in halo1, it doesnt matter if they put it in or not.

What are you talknig about, it would be awesome the only parts it wouldn't work in are like air vent or some thing?

Can any one here do a 360 turn in a small space? (if you even have tried) Like in Deus Ex you would not be able to turn in a air vent..... it still would be awesome to see your body!

Games that allow you to see your body when you look down make it seem more realistic then those dont. Either way, its not an important factor for me choosing a game.

Yeah, I'd want it because it annoys me that I can't see my arms when I pick something up without gravity gun in HL2.

It's not the most important thing in a video game but it's definately a big plus if you can see your own body. It adds to the realism.

As long as the animations don't look stupid, then yeah I like to look down and see myself walking & running.
