So I want to get an old game of Quake working.... I installed Quake on my PC right? I didn't need DOSBOX but now I do apparently.

However I don't know what to do next!!!

I have DosBox version 0.70

BTW

I somehow miracualussly mounted the c drive...

I try to type in the folder name to open it up [called QUAKE_SW] and I don't know what the **** to do!!!

What do I do next? Can anybody give me a step-by-step command line on what to do please?

This should help. I love DosBox, it allows me to play Syndicate Plus and Star trek "A Final Unity". Two of my favorite games from childhood.

Once you change to the Quake directory, you have to run the Quake executable. Type "dir *.exe" to list all the Executable files in the directory. Then simply type the name of the EXE.

However, Dosbox isn't ideal for running glide/opengl type games like Quake so it might not perform that well.
