DotA creator making seperate DotA game Funded by Valve

It's a rather popular mod based from off Warcraft: The Frozen Throne. Ill give a brief explanation as best as I can. Basically it's a 5v5 Hero RTS. Waves of units are spawned at each opposing base, and human players are each in control of a hero with various spells and abilities to kill other heroes or "push" and destroy the opponents base for complete victory. sorry I cant play RTSs online. I tried once with Starcraft and did not like it.

Maybe I should give it a shot...I did just buy Supreme Commander

Sounds very noobish RTS for me. Hence why its so popular... Noobs loves quick money/spawn games :P

Main reason I don't like DotA much and love LoL, not that's a good community.

I don't want to defend dota but I just hate ignorants like you ;) that call anything noob or give their oppinion on games without know anything about them, nothing at all.

Hmm Valve always had the knack for hiring modders can't say I'm surprised.

Same, after playing a few hours of HoN it was basically Dota with better graphics, Demigod at least only copied the concept and made their own heroes and gameplay. There needs fresh ideas or it will just become stale. Not just the same old rehash
