I was downloading a demo for a game on Limewire (it's not piracy the demo is free anyways), it turns out to be fake. Now there"s an audio loop playing ofan airwick freshener advertisement.... I deleted the file and it still plays. How do I get rid of this?? Thank you.

PS, sorry if it's in the wrong section I wasn't sure where to post. I would put this in the orignal post but I see no edit button.

Sounds like you may have contracted some malware. Have you tried running a scan with a anti-virus/adware program? Using something like Windows Security Essentials would probably work fine.

The sound is no longer a problem but now my computer is acting extremely slow, adn I can't even open my antivirus to scan the computer. I scanned the file before opening and it said there was nothing wrong with it.

Get thee to Trend Micro's web site and try Housecall.

Here is the deal... Whatever you have got has probably lowered all of your internet security settings and the reason it is getting slower is because it is loading up on more and more malware. Yum yum. If you do not think you can solve it, best thing to do will be to disconnect and pay to get it cleaned up because it will get worse.
