downloading directx 10 !

can some1 please give me a link to direct download for directx 10 !! ive been searching for hours and all i can is for directx 9 , i want it for windows 7 . i just upgraded to it , or would already be installed with windows ?

i\ll try re-installing games now , but when i try to play an error appears : can start because XINPUT1.dll is missing !

It's embedded into the operating system.

Also, most DX10 games, if you poke around on the disc, you can find the DX10 binaries, in a folder along with the DX9 ones.

To check what DX level you have, type dxdiag into run, or start search in vista. Look at the bottom for your DirectX version.

BTW, a new Vista update added DX11.
