Downloading MW2 Stimulus packs..EDIT:UPDATE

Any personal views on the maps? Personally I hate the idea of having to pay 15bucks for the addons, but am looking forward to some new variety..

EDITED-UPDATE: Well, I went ahead and purchased the stumulus package.....And, nothing really too special. The 3 new maps are cool - very in fact. But here's the issue. The new maps dont mesh with the original games. Example: Instead of selecting Search n Destroy or Team Deathmath---the Stimulus package has its very own Selection that throws out Random game play. So you might be playing Demolition one game, then after map change, you're gonna play Domination..

That really sucks. I personally am a huge S & D fan and was looking forward to this. Or even Free for all. But nope, none of those seems to be a playable option. Worth the money? IMO--I spend 15bucks everytime I leave the house, is 15bucks worth the game addons? Not really, but F-it went ahead and did it anyway. Atleast Im not Pirating, ya know??

Iam also interested in the new map pack...but 15 euros is not worth it..ill wait till the price drops bellow 10...

Haven't played cod sincs bad company 2 came out. If I ever got back in to it, I don't think I'd bother with the map pack. I'm happy to pay for DLC if I think it's worth it or brings something new to the game.

I have a QUESTION: If I don't buy the maps....what happens? Let's say I'm playing in a server....then one of the new maps turns up, does it kick me off? If the other way...and I can't join servers which use new maps...won't it be harder to find games?FelipeInside

no there are specific game types for the new maps (added at the bottom of the selection)

i personally think its an insult 15$ for 2 ported maps, and 3 new ones.. i mean come on.. for $60 this DLC should of been free.

I personally will wait until it becomes a more reasonable purchase... and so far it is far from it.

They are poor value for sure. The thing is if you play hundreds of hours of this game then you probably should buy it, if just to get a little more variety.

The more people buy this and being ripped off for 3 new maps is just encouraging all to keep charging for DLC!Anarchist-TKC-1

actually maybe 60% of the players (once it is all said and done will buy the maps) You have to remember not all people who think this dlc is a joke, are people who didn't buy the game... especially gamers that waited to find the game for a reasonable price ( i found it for $41 dollars including shipping brand new, way more reasonable than $60 plus tax.)

there are literally millions playing this game around the world that will not buy this map pack either A. at all, or B. till it becomes free or down in price.

if you now buy the game and the dlc you will be paying more then 70 euro here for it........

and that is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to much.

regret that I bought the game on release I don't think 5 maps ( wich have 2 old ones in it that I already have in fact in my cod mw ) and charging 14 euro's for it is suport.

oh well there will probably be hordes of brainless people buying it................ they only help with the downfall of gaming.........

glad I didn't buy it :) I got dirt dirt2 feul grid and toca 3 for almost the same price as those 5 measily maps :D
